Purpose of the job: Providing IT infrastructure and helpdesk support to Foster Denovo Partners/Staff/Offices and Clients. Based in Weybridge, with travel to other FD offices as and when necessary. To help deliver a quality service to Foster Denovo This role exists to support and assist Partners/Staff/Offices and Clients The role holder will be responsible for providing IT and technical support (using our helpdesk system primarily but other contact means as necessary) To achieve our service levels and maintain the high reputation of the IT department throughout the company Job summary: 1st Line support and troubleshooting of IT related issues. Installation and maintenance of Core IT systems as necessary Escalation to External suppliers as necessary. Preventative maintenance work as necessary. Manning/Logging the internal FD IT helpdesk (Currently Manage Engine) Provision of voice and data for new starters as required Responsible for backups and Log maintenance To work closely with the IT Manager/Head of IT in the provision and support of IT and IT related services across the business Trouble-shoot and proactively manage any issues that may arise, providing a comprehensive, value added service to all IFAs and staff, feeding back to the appropriate manager where necessary Assist on new/special projects as required Undertake any other duties commensurate with your grade, skills and experience. Key skills and personal attributes: Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines and stay focused under pressure. An articulate communicator. Honesty, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Hard working and responsive to the need to deliver a high quality support service. Attention to detail and high standards of work. Team player but must be able to work independently and use own initiative. A positive, friendly service-orientated person with a “can do” attitude who is aware of the important role played by advisers and their staff in providing financial advice.
