This entrepreneurial, multi-million pound business is about to embark on a new strategic program to tighten controls and increase business output. Through positive restructure, the business is seeking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to challenge and improve decision making and develop management information & reporting across the business.
Managing a team of 5 and acting as the number two to the CFO, the role will support all aspects of management & financial reporting, cash management, transactional finance and MI/ Systems. This is an excellent chance for the right individual to get high levels of exposure to the C-Suite, external execs and the wider business, whilst enjoying high levels of autonomy and flexibility. The client requires a positive, post qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong technical grounding, capable of managing, mentoring and supporting a team. You will be required to own the audit and year end process, manage month end, develop efficient financial reporting and help support MI and systems improvements as the division evolves.
