PURPOSE OF JOB
The role reports into the Head of Share Plan Services. Responsible for market prominence, leadership, management and oversight of the Share Plan London business development and London Relationship Management for new and existing Share Plan clients. Covering sales, business and product strategy for the range of products offered by our Share Plan business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Represent JTC at industry events.
Create thought leadership structures and opportunities.
Ensure JTC market prominence via speaking opportunities.
Work alongside Business Development colleagues to manage new sales activities leading to clear market share growth.
Implement sales strategies agreed between you, the Head of Share Plan Services and Business Development, monitor performance, and provide support to ensure team success.
Oversee the new business pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting and ensure the effective use of CRM tools to track and manage sales activities.
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and return on investment is tracked.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, key industry partners and stakeholders.
Act as senior contact and escalation point for complex or challenging relationship matters and, generally, provide senior support to the business, ensuring teams have access to relevant knowledge and expertise.
Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve products, services, and sales approaches.
Ensure that the spirit of JTC is engendered and shared within the Group.
May be required to attend board/divisional meetings and contribute to board papers/reports as appropriate.
Ensure good corporate governance in accordance with regulatory requirements while aligning to the Group’s overall aims, business plan and long-term strategy.
Attend and lead client meetings, either on or off site. Liaise with professional advisors to ensure the Group delivers both a proficient and added value service.
Provide any other duties as defined or deemed necessary by the Group Board.
Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
Remain aware of the obligations for the reporting of unusual transactions and act as a guide to the division in this respect. Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
Develop an ability to inspire and motivate the Operational division to sustain the Group’s unique stakeholder culture.
Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
Develop self and always ensure knowledge in relevant field.
Deputise in the absence of Senior Director.
Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
Any other duties as deemed necessary or defined by Management and/or Group Board.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Senior professional with proven track record in Share Plan administration front office.
Proven experience in building share plan administration businesses.
Established business network of intermediaries and prospective clients.
Excellent multitasking skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
Willingness to travel within the UK and Jersey and potentially internationally from time to time.
Attendance at industry and corporate events to promote the service line.
Attendance at and participation in industry events.
London based is critical.
Hybrid role – can be a part-time role for the right candidate, 3 days a week minimum. 2 of those days should be assumed to be in the Scalpel office, London or visiting clients.
