Our client who is a leader in the retail sector, is looking to recruit a

Head of Talent

on a 6-month FTC. The role is predominantly remote, with travel to London just twice per month. The salary on offer is up to GBP150,000 plus a 20% annual bonus and benefits. This role will lead the design and execution of our clients Talent and Leadership agenda. You will support them to develop a suite of leading-edge interventions for their Corporate Function aligned with their Values and Leadership Framework. You will also manage their Talent Review processes, succession and design ongoing development interventions for their top talent across the business. This work will contribute to the overall Talent & Leadership strategy and support our client's transformation agenda. What is expected of the Head of Talent?

Lead and deliver our Career development strategy across the business. Management of ongoing Talent cycle. Provide high quality support for Talent Reviews & Board Talent Reviews. Partner with HRBPs to gather relevant data. Oversee our Performance Management process. Develop our approach to emerging talent (Grads and Apprenticeships) to plug future skills gaps. Design best-in-class Talent development interventions to ensure strong succession pipeline. Create a development curriculum for our people managers to upweight people manager quality across our Corporate Function. Create detailed course outlines, and ensure potential integration with other learning programmes. Partner closely with Colleague Listening to measure/understand Manager Quality across Corporate and support subsequent action planning. Work with the Group Talent Director and People Directors to create leading edge solutions to accelerate Corporate Talent development. Ensure high quality development plans in place for all key successors of critical roles in Corporate. Oversee relevant vendor relationships and partner with Procurement to ensure that our client is maximising its relationship with all related vendors. What we look for in a Head of Talent?

Proven capability in designing and executing leading edge development talent and leadership interventions. Experience in managing Talent cycle and developing career initiatives. Keeps up to date with external trends, best practices and innovative ideas in Talent and Leadership. Experience of facilitating and delivering training programs/learning interventions. Ability to translate data into meaningful insights. Ability to integrate technology into learning solutions/digitally savvy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to partner with multiple stakeholders. Ability to flex to changing circumstances. Good budget management ability. Strong vendor management skills. Experience across different colleague segments is preferred. What the Head of Talent will receive?
