We are now seeking a high performer to grow sales in the Northern UK and Ireland. Ideally, you will have a Technical product background within the aviation market.
The role is based in the UK and involves frequent travel.
Reporting to the Aviation Sales Manager, the role is responsible for:
Managing existing & developing new business, mainly in the Northern UK and Ireland.
Presenting the company's chemical solutions to a clientele of airlines and their specialist suppliers in cleaning, catering, and ground servicing, airports and airfields, and specialised distributors; negotiating sales and contracts.
Introducing new products and providing product briefs and training.
Advising clients on products, and global technical regulations & procedures,
Participating in the development of the local UK company.
The successful candidate will require:
5 years of hands-on experience in Account Management or Business Development from the aviation industry, selling technical products to airlines, airports, etc.
Ability to engage customers broadly, from senior executives to shop floor operators.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation.
Independent, self-motivated, play-to-win attitude.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e. Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Pharmacology).
Availability to travel frequently.
