Do you have experience in developing digital and non-digital insurance products for new distribution channels and audiences? We’re seeking a Proposition Lead, Insured Propositions to join AXA Health’s Strategy and Proposition Team. You’ll own proposition development and commercial optimisation of AXA Health’s digital private medical and travel, dental and optical insurance products, scaling our new flagship modular private medical insurance (PMI) proposition. You’ll introduce a complimentary portfolio of products, aimed at new target segments across health and related markets. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Lead proposition development of our class-leading, digital modular PMI proposition, AXA Health Plan. Own development of related health and travel related propositions. Drive insight through to execution phases to develop innovative, loveable, commercially robust propositions. Collaborate with Reporting and Optimisation Manager to develop customer and business reporting framework. Run cross-functional review sessions and create feedback loop to turn customer and commercial insight into impactful development of new and existing propositions. Deliver new operating models including partner selection and delivery of new service models. Proactively introduce and optimise loyalty propositions within core products that drive customer loyalty and lifetime value. Implement strong risk management framework to govern proposition development. Ensure risks are continuously identified, assessed, and mitigated in line with AXA Health protocols. What you’ll bring: Senior level experience within a product proposition development role, within insurance (ideally health) – essential. Demonstrable experience of developing digital and non-digital products from insight to launch phase, within a regulated insurance environment. Experience of developing actionable customer insight to drive proposition concept design. Knowledge of dynamics and trends within the UK healthcare sector, including public and private provision. Product design regulation expertise, such as PROD and Consumer Duty. Cost and pricing models knowledge. Procurement processes including RFI and RFP. Risk management skills with ability to create risk management frameworks to manage financial, non-financial and clinical risk. Commercial acumen and project management skills. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
