About the role University of Staffordshire is looking for a Content Manager to join the Marketing, Brand and Voice Department. It’s an exciting time to join the University as we embed our new brand and visual presence in content across all platforms. The Content Manager will be responsible for the development of a new content strategy and will have the opportunity to establish a new content production team and operations to drive strategic and impactful results for the University. Working collaboratively across Marketing and Recruitment teams and Academic Schools, the role is responsible for developing a ‘content factory’ approach to operations, to align our content marketing with our university strategy and to drive efficiencies that will transform the output of the team. The role will be responsible for audience-building that drives interest in the brand and ultimately drives leads into the recruitment funnel. Using a data-driven approach to content marketing, the role will be responsible for sustainable earned and owned content strategy and digital communications for our external audience. This will involve managing a content production team of content producers and social media specialists and governing the editorial and communication processes to monitor reputation, brand and lead generation. What you’ll need to be successful in this role: - Previous experience leading on operational transformation/change related to content management and/or content marketing - Demonstrable experience managing successful multi-channel content production - Experience developing content marketing strategy for a large organisation/brand - Demonstrable experience of audience-building - Knowledge of relevant content trends - Strong data analysis, interpretation and influencing skills - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to lead in an experimental and data-driven digital marketing environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £45,585.00-£54,395.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Application deadline: 19/01/2025 Reference ID: MBV24-002-R
