Cruise & Events Executive, Maternity Cover, up to 1 year FTC
Office-based or hybrid opportunity. Due to the nature of our operations, there will be times when 5 days a week in the office is required in the run-up to Events, however, during off-peak times, 3 days would be sufficient.

Role profile
Newmarket Holidays works with multiple Ocean and River cruise providers both as a retail agent and a tour operator. We also operate a number of highly successful special events, including The Championships - Wimbledon, Andre Rieu concerts, the Edinburgh Tattoo, and magical day trips to Lapland. Therefore, we are predominantly looking for someone with a great understanding and knowledge of the cruise industry, including content, marketing, and operations, with fantastic organisational skills. The role involves dealing with multiple stakeholders, including external suppliers and internal customers, to ensure we continue to improve and progress our ongoing cruise partnerships to maximise sales.
Who we are looking for
Experience in a similar or relevant travel role.
Customer-focused team player who can build strong relationships internally and externally.
Effective communicator both verbally and in writing who establishes good, collaborative working relationships.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail in numeracy and accuracy.
Highly organised, able to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
Problem-solver who questions processes in the desire to achieve efficiencies.
Active participant in events at a customer-facing level and willing to travel on business-related trips in the UK and overseas.
