Job Responsibilities

Lead prospecting and account management activities for all customers, for all products and services Hit total revenue and contract value targets Identify rental and leasing opportunities with new accounts in your area Identify service opportunities with new accounts in your specific area Continuously monitor competitor strengths/weaknesses regarding services/people/fleet numbers & mix types and exploit available opportunities Create and build long-lasting relationships with customer base Profitably manage an existing portfolio to maximize and improve utilization Manage price increases to achieve profitable growth and minimize credits Work with customer service teams to resolve customer queries to 100% satisfaction Work with risk & collections teams to ensure timely customer payment Deliver sales pipeline to assist in effective forecasting for repositioning of assets and capital expenditure Develop product knowledge to assist customers in correct asset selection Remain up to date on technological advances, legislation developments and how these can have a positive impact on both revenue and profits Work with internal functions and marketing to deliver added value product growth Qualifications/Requirements Minimum of 5 years work experience, with a proven track record in sales Can function independently, eager to learn, good verbal & written communication skills, with strong commercial acumen Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude with clear thought processes and excellent priority setting Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent analytical skills Can present confidently in all situations Demonstrates a winning mentality, with strong customer focus, creativity & imagination Pro-active approach, displaying expertise to gain trust Desired Characteristics Speaks, writes and expresses ideas in a clear, concise manner using plain language appropriate for the audience Adapts communication content, message, style and terminology based on the audience Ability to build long-lasting customer relationships Creating trust and being accountable for long-term results rather than focus on one win only Understanding and knowledge of the competitive landscape Possesses required functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment Demonstrates active interest and ability to enhance and apply new functional skills Knowledge and understanding of the Industry as well as being able to follow trends, grasp what is important information for the Company and Industry Can negotiate skillfully in difficult situations settling differences with minimum noise Win concessions without damaging relationships Thoughtfully fashions creative solutions that satisfy all parties Ability to build strong networks internally and externally and use those for the benefit of the business Open to change and new information adapting behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles Adjusts rapidly to new situations warranting attention and resolution Demonstrate honesty, integrity and strong values through consistent action instilling mutual trust and confidence through fair and ethical interactions with others Belief in own opinion, decision and capability to accomplish tasks and select an effective approach to a task or problem Practices attentive and active listening; has the patience to hear people out; can accurately restate the opinions of others even when he or she disagrees Ability to stick with principles that both earn and foster trust and respect from others Benefits We Offer Attractive bonus structure Company car Contributory Company pension scheme Life assurance TIP Trailer Services employs staff at more than 136 locations and at more than 72 maintenance facilities throughout 17 European countries.
