Your Role EF York is searching for an energetic and organised individual to join our summer 2025 team as Student Activities and Events Manager. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your managerial skills whilst gaining experience within an international organisation. With EF, you'll be part of a fast-paced and dynamic international working environment. After a summer as a Student Activities and Events Manager, you will have taken your management skills to the next level and maximised your communication skills by working with different cultures and backgrounds. This is a live-in position where accommodation and full board is provided at no extra cost. Roles run from May/June - August/September 2025. Responsibilities Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, with overall responsibility for the activity programme in your school. Planning and delivering everything from interactive games for small groups to large events for over 1000 students. Supporting a team of local and international leaders to ensure all activities provide a sense of local culture, while being safe and fun. Liaising with local suppliers and motivating your team to create the summer of a lifetime for every student. Requirements Strong leadership skills with some management/team leading experience required. Commitment to the highest level of customer service. Sociable and fun disposition with the ability to motivate and energise others. Financial and business acumen. English fluency and excellent communication skills. Able to work independently.
