The Role: In the position of Accountancy Manager, you will be instrumental in mentoring and guiding junior staff while ensuring that the highest standards of quality and accuracy are maintained. Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing and reviewing management accounts for both UK and multi-national companies, providing expert support and guidance. Offering insightful advice on VAT and PAYE matters, including thorough reviews of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns. Supporting start-ups comprehensively throughout their financial journey by providing crucial guidance and financial support. Leading the implementation of innovative accounting and computerized financial systems. Managing UK financial reporting for various entities, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders. Fostering the development of your team through training, reviews, and mentorship. Strengthening client relationships by offering expert advice across a wide range of business topics.

Requirements The ideal candidate will possess: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A recent accountancy qualification with comprehensive knowledge of management accounting. A team-oriented mindset that values collective success and contributes positively to the work environment. Professionalism and a steadfast commitment to excellence in all endeavors. The ability to delegate tasks effectively and guide junior staff, empowering them to reach their full potential. Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional, tailored service. Excellent IT skills, with the capability to leverage technology for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
