Job description

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the SEO Strategist will be responsible for creating and managing the content and SEO strategies for our website, and our clients’ websites.

You will create and implement strategies to boost traffic and engagement by diagnosing and fixing technical issues, identifying keywords for on-site and off-site projects, and managing blog and news content.

You will also work with department managers to optimise content and act as the point of contact for projects involving leads and new clients.

Key responsibilities

You will create and implement website optimisation strategies for Atlas SEO and its clients, and work with the Sales team to create packages that can be offered to new and existing clients.

This will involve:

Using SEO and content tools to conduct regular website audits to discover issues or areas for improvement

Defining and implement on-page and off-page content and SEO strategies

Working with content creators to produce on-site content

Day-to-day website management, including optimising and uploading content, and identifying and solving technical issues

Ensuring that all content is aligned with brand image

Monitoring competitor websites to discover and fill content gaps

Providing reports on website performances

Assisting the Sales team with technical-SEO queries from existing and potential clients

Essential requirements

2+ years’ experience in a similar role: managing websites; technical SEO; keyword research; and content optimisation

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills

Positive attitude and a growth mindset

Ability to manage multiple projects

Favourable skills

Experience of working within the SEO and/or iGaming industries

Able to visualise what should be done to achieve goals

Great presentation skills
