to join our successful responsive maintenance and larger works team based in Newton Abbot. Guaranteed

39-hour working week

finishing early on Fridays to help with work/life balance. We require the Operative to complete a variety of residential works, working in mostly void properties and communal areas around the Teignbridge area. The Multi Trade Operative role: Wet trades works will include rendering external walls and plastering internal walls & ceilings, painting internals. Carpentry works will involve fencing, stud work, door hanging & basic plumbing works including taps, wash hand basins, wastes, etc. You will take pride in delivering an exceptional level of customer service; ensuring you are providing updates and considering their needs at all times while being able to complete your work. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and relevant documentation is completed at all stages. What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative: Qualified to an NVQ 2 level in Carpentry, Plumbing, Plastering or a similar professional body is desirable but not essential; time served is acceptable. Motivated in your approach to work and able to work to individual and team output targets. Possession of a full current UK Driving license, which is essential to undertake the Multi Trade Operative role, using your vehicle and ability to claim travel expenses.
