About the Role:
We are seeking a
Sales Manager
to join our dynamic client and support the development of one of their growing award-winning exhibitions. Their mission is to deliver accessible, affordable, and sustainable events for the business community to learn, network, and procure together. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a generous bonus structure. You will have the opportunity to build and grow a recently launched series of regional events, contributing to our plans to expand into multiple markets over the next few years. This role is based in their
Reigate offices
for a minimum of three days per week, with the opportunity for hybrid working. It also requires both national and international travel. Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation : Achieve stand revenue targets by generating revenue from new and existing customers, and upselling/cross-selling sponsorship opportunities. New Business Development : Win new business from inbound marketing qualified leads, competitor shows, and sourcing your own leads. Client Retention : Ensure maximum client retention by achieving rebook targets on-site at events and delivering excellent customer service year-round through regular contact, responding to queries, and keeping clients informed of developments and opportunities. CRM Management : Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer information, call notes, pipeline management, and forecasting. Key Skills & Experience:
Experience : Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on B2B events, ideally trade shows. Target-Driven : Proven ability to work to targets and achieve KPIs, including 50 calls/1.5 hours per day. Adaptability : Thrives in a fast-paced, ambitious environment with the ability to travel to competitor events both in the UK and internationally as required. Customer Relationship Skills : Excellent customer relationship skills with energy and enthusiasm to drive commercial success. Commercial Acumen : Commercially minded with the ability to implement identified initiatives. CRM Proficiency : Experience with HubSpot CRM is desirable. What We Offer:
