Job Description
We are seeking a talented SEO Strategist to join our growing team. We were recently named to Inc. Magazine’s list of Best Workplaces. Therefore, this is a rare opportunity to join a stellar team. Sosemo is an award-winning digital marketing agency that specializes in search marketing (SEO/SEM), paid social, and media buying. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial-spirited, highly detail-oriented, have exceptional problem solving skills along with prior SEO experience preferably at an agency or Fortune 500 company. Paid Search and Media experience is a plus. Along with a competitive salary (salary range: $55,500 - $72,500 *hourly if under $58,500), yearly bonus, and benefits, we also offer opportunities for our employees to earn a significant amount of additional compensation by working overtime and earning reward points. Our office is located at 26 Broadway. In addition to working with a stellar team, our office has beautiful common areas, weekly yoga/meditation classes, and free snacks and coffee. Please note: our office is following all CDC and state guidelines. We are looking for local candidates for this position. Employees currently have the option to work remotely, though you will be asked to work in-office on an as needed basis. An average of 2-3 days/week should be expected. Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct keyword research and analysis Provide search engine accessibility consulting Provide optimization recommendations for site content Develop and execute link building strategies Execute blogger outreach programs Demonstrate value against all initiatives by providing monthly/quarterly metrics reports Research and keep up on industry trends Develop new SEO services and refine processes Qualifications
4-year college degree in marketing, computer science, or related field Must have an adequate number of LinkedIn endorsements for SEO Passion for digital marketing and entrepreneurship Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Must be highly detail-oriented Must have basic knowledge of web technologies Must have working knowledge of social networking sites, search engines and app stores 2-3 years of experience managing SEO campaigns Health and pharmaceutical experience is a plus Additional Information
