Senior Market Analyst

to join our Marketing Data & Analytics team. This position is remote based within Europe or could be hybrid based in Cambridge, where you will be analysing and identifying local market opportunities to support strategic decision making for the region. About the Role: As a Senior Market Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating market dynamics to provide data-driven insights that shape our marketing strategies and initiatives. Your work will focus on assessing local market potential, identifying emerging opportunities, and analyzing market dynamics to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth research to assess market potential, identify emerging trends, and evaluate growth opportunities across regional markets. Analyze existing internal and external market research to extract region-specific insights, enabling the business to tailor strategies to local market conditions and opportunities. Work closely with the commercial team to understand knowledge gaps and develop plans to gather the necessary market insights. Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management, translating complex data into actionable insights. Contribute to the annual commercial planning process by providing insights that inform key strategic decisions. Work closely with the global market intelligence group to pass on information, work on market research projects and support the annual market books process. About You: You will have 3-5 years of experience in a Market Research Analyst role (or similar role). Experience of working within the genomics, biotechnology or life sciences industry is essential. You excel at analytical thinking, synthesizing disparate data, and turning it into insights that drive strategic business outcomes. You can effectively translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for a variety of stakeholders. You are highly motivated, proactive, and thrive in a self-directed environment. You are able to independently design and execute approaches to solving complex business questions. You have strong project management skills, with the ability to scope out projects, define deliverables, and manage timelines effectively. You have a strong understanding of business strategy and can prioritize tasks and budget allocations to focus on the initiatives with the highest impact. You have first-hand experience with both primary and secondary market research. What can you expect?
