The aggregates business operates over 70 quarry sites producing hard rock, sand and gravel materials essential for the construction industry. About the opportunity:

Due to an internal promotion, we are hiring for this key senior management position based either in Perth or the North West Region. As Area Manager, you will have full responsibility for the safe operation, growth, and profitability of the North West Aggregates business. You will drive sales, oversee operations, and contribute to both day-to-day management and strategic direction. As a dynamic leader with strategic and operational expertise, you'll oversee SHE, financials, reporting, leadership, sales, marketing, and operational performance. You'll maximize opportunities with existing and new clients, achieve sales and operational targets, and lead a large, professional team to success. Further and detailed accountabilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request. About you:

To succeed in this critical role, Engineering and/or Commercial qualifications are desirable and you should demonstrate a history of success in pivotal leadership positions, ideally within the Quarrying, Aggregates or related industries - for example, heavy manufacturing sectors servicing the civil construction industry. You will be an experienced leader and a team player - someone who is passionate about driving overall business performance with a growth agenda and with solid, practical skills and knowledge in developing the capability of teams. You will excel at building strong business relationships while maintaining a down-to-earth, ethical, and professional approach. Your positive, resilient, and goal-oriented mindset, combined with a passion for coaching and developing others, will enable you to create valuable solutions and drive success. Why Holcim?
