You will be based in our City office working within our Business Services department. You will be responsible for supporting our accounting team in providing high-quality financial services to our clients. This position offers graduates and school leavers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential accounting skills working within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will also receive full support undertaking your ACCA qualification as well as on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced professionals who will assist you with various accounting tasks and projects. This will include working on a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP’s, partnerships and sole traders. You will gain exposure to the key accounting functions which underpin businesses such as bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, management accounts and preparing financial statements. What will the role entail? Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation of accounts from client portfolio within specified budget timescale. Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. Preparation of management accounts. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of client deliverables. Develop relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service to address their accounting needs and inquiries. Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills. Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues. Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting profession. Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting (2:1 or above). Apply for this role
