Deichmann UK are looking to appoint a new Marketing Assistant.

Based in our vibrant Head Office in Market Harborough, the Marketing Assistant will play a key role in the success of the Marketing team.

In return you will receive an annual salary of 23,000 Reporting to the Marketing Campaign Manager and the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will assist the Marketing department regarding advertising, external and internal communication. Additionally, they will act as intermediary between stores and departments at Head Office with the aim of structuring and communicating campaigns and promotion related information. Key activities: Provides all Point of Sales (POS) materials for stores. Drives the development of new campaigns by suggesting contents, designs and proofreading. Provides all POS and non-merchandise material for new store openings by liaising with external suppliers. Arranges national and local store activities with all associated materials and communications. Liaises with PR agencies regarding fashion PR, look books and media outreach. Assists with the creation of blogger content and coordination of social media activity. Assists with the coordination of photo shoots. Provides all POS and non-merchandising material for new store openings and organising marketing activities and communications by coordinating between various departments. Provides support for store staff by answering questions and dealing with queries. Responsible for the development of the internal staff magazine. Assists with administration of invoices. Personal characteristics: To be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and/or to have worked at this level. Genuine interest and motivation for working in Marketing. Skilled communicator with effective influencing ability. Ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise a busy workload consisting of multiple tasks and / or projects. Analysing and interpreting performance statistics and making recommendations based on findings. Highly motivated and works on own initiative whilst also able to work effectively as one of a team.
