You will maintain regular discussion with business leadership and key stakeholders to ensure the digital strategy and key systems are aligned with business requirements. You will also own key relationships with support functions within the Laing O'Rourke group as well as any external suppliers or partners required to deliver against the strategy. Duties include: Digital Systems Management: Oversee the daily operations of key digital tools and platforms, ensuring they align with business needs and enhance operational efficiency. System Security & Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with relevant security protocols, industry standards, and data protection regulations. Technology Implementation: Lead the deployment of new systems or digital tools, managing integration challenges and overcoming resistance to change within teams. Team Training & Support: Develop training programs and provide ongoing support to ensure teams are proficient in using digital tools effectively. Process Optimization: Drive system improvements and optimizations, using data-driven insights to enhance system performance and contribute to business growth. Innovation & Trend Integration: Stay current with emerging digital technologies and trends, and identify opportunities to integrate these innovations into the company's digital landscape. Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics to monitor system performance and make informed decisions that drive operational improvements. System Maintenance: Ensure the stability and reliability of existing digital systems while implementing innovative solutions that enhance operational capabilities. Essential skills and experience: Experience in leading digital and systems management, with a deep understanding of digital transformation. Excellent knowledge of system security, compliance standards, and data protection regulations. Experience in project management, especially in implementing new technologies and systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and guide teams. Proficient in data analytics and the use of data-driven insights to optimize systems. Ability to balance innovation with the practical needs of maintaining existing systems. Preferred Qualifications and certifications: Recognised project management qualification such as Prince2 or similar Systems integration, digital architecture and relational database knowledge or courses (Preferred) Agile methodology knowledge The role is based out of Dartford but will require travel to other locations in the UK. The position sits within our specialist trading group Select Plant Hire and forms a key part of the Laing O'Rourke strategy.
