This is an excellent opportunity for any ambitious Assistant Manager or established Manager to join one of Cheshire's leading independent accountancy practices in a mixed accounts and audit capacity with genuine career progression.
Role Overview:
Oversee a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services.
Manage audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with standards.
Prepare and review year-end accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
Oversee management accounts and financial reports.
Provide strategic business and tax planning advice.
Review and submit corporate tax returns to HMRC.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high standards and professional development.
Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
Engage in business development, including client proposals and networking.
Ideal Candidate:
ACA or ACCA Qualified with significant audit and accountancy experience.
Proven track record in managing an audit and accountancy client portfolio.
Strong knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
Experience in tax compliance and advisory services.
