What You’ll Do As an Area Sales Manager for the South of the UK, your primary responsibility will be to drive new business opportunities and foster existing client relationships within your dedicated geographical area. You will: Proactively seek out new sales opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing customers. Conduct site visits and client meetings, providing technical solutions. Manage sales enquiries, quotations, and orders, ensuring that customer needs are met. Collaborate with internal teams, such as project and technical staff, to ensure smooth delivery of solutions. Participate in design and pre-sale meetings, while performing site surveys to understand project requirements. Travel regularly to meet with clients, and on occasion, participate in international training or meetings. What You’ll Need To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Proven experience in sales within the construction or logistics industries, ideally with a focus on industrial or warehousing solutions. The ability to build relationships with contractors, developers, and architects, leveraging a strong network within the construction and industrial sectors. A competitive, entrepreneurial mindset with the resilience to handle long sales cycles and project-based work. Strong technical aptitude to understand product applications and tailor solutions, although in-depth engineering expertise is not required.
