A one-of-a-kind VR company is looking to hire a Lead Instructional VR Designer as they expand throughout 2023. This multi-award-winning VR company has a virtual training and coaching platform now being used by the world's biggest companies. They have just gone through Series A funding and are about to grow significantly. It's a brilliant time to join. Employing approximately 80 people across 2 UK locations, they have built not only a world-class product but also a first-class working environment abundant with collaboration and creativity. The Role: They are now looking for a Lead Designer with VR experience to lead and manage a small team of instructional designers and guide them in their work. You will need to understand virtual reality and emerging technology as you collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to define the scope and objectives of VR instructional projects. A strong portfolio of VR projects is needed for this. You will stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in VR instructional design and share insights with the team while managing the design and development process, including setting timelines, determining budgets, and coordinating resources. Ideal Candidate: 3+ years of experience in VR instructional design, gaming, or a related field. Experience managing a team of instructional designers or in related roles. Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Experience with Unity and Adobe Creative Suite.
