An opportunity has arisen for a

Property Legal Secretary

to join a commercial real estate department of a well-established law firm. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Property Legal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Commercial Real Estate team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

You will be responsible for: Assisting fee earners with efficient and accurate secretarial tasks. Preparing and amending documents, including contracts, reports, and leases, in line with house style. Opening and closing files, including compliance tasks and drafting engagement letters. Managing client calls, taking messages, and handling correspondence. Assisting with financial tasks such as WIP management, completion statements, and invoicing. Creating, amending, and formatting complex legal documents.

What we are looking for: Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant, Legal Clerk or in a similar role. Must have secretarial experience in a Commercial Property or Real Estate department. Accurate typing skills with a speed of at least 60 wpm and experience using transcription software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Confidence in handling large and complex documents.
