We’re looking for experienced Strategic Relationship Managers to join our Intermediary team. You’ll be the primary point of contact for AXA Retail’s intermediary and partner relationships. You’ll be responsible for strategic relationship management, business development and portfolio trading. You’ll also be accountable for delivering business goals through relationship performance and providing market-leading customer service. A personalised 6-week induction plan will support you in your new role. At AXA, we work smart. This role is non-office field-based, meaning you’ll travel to visit offices or client sites as required. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. What you’ll be doing:

Define and execute relationship management and contact strategies for an aligned panel of partners or distribution segment. Develop and manage aligned broker relationships across AXA Retail’s entire portfolio. Ensure delivery of relationship, segment profitability, and account plans. Deal management, contract negotiation, and use of data and sales tools. Oversee business development and trading activity, with a focus on profitable growth. Manage distribution costs associated with broker relationships. Deliver and report on effective sales and broker relationship campaigns. Oversight and management of governance, conduct, and compliance of aligned broker partners. Previous experience in a similar retail personal lines insurance or broker role – essential. Proven track record of profitable business development – essential. Experience of operational and strategic planning – essential. Ability to lead, collaborate, support, and motivate AXA Retail colleagues. Pragmatic decision-making. Analytical and numerical reasoning skills. Able to manoeuvre through complex processes, policies, and organisational structures. People management experience – beneficial but not essential. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime, which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
