The Company A mid-size, fast growing conference, awards and insights business, operating across the global capital markets sectors. The Role of Head of Insights The primary purpose of the role is two-fold: 1. Embed yourself within the global Capital Markets sector (5 key regions) and translate key insights (market drivers, active transactions in the market, completed transactions, key industry figures, trends etc.), which can then be used to inform the sales and production teams (e.g., to secure the right speakers for the events, ensure the content is relevant, accurate and on-trend, etc.). 2. Lead the awards process – they ask “the market” to decide on the winning submissions for their awards. Therefore you would review submissions and speak to key figures across the market to gain a qualified consensus on which ones would be worthy winners. You would also likely present the awards. They operate across 5 geographical markets and therefore you would produce a report each week for one of those regions, rotating through all 5 (which are LATAM, Africa, Middle East, Central & Eastern Europe, and CIS). Therefore the team would be given an update from you on each market every 5 weeks.
