We are looking for a Planning Director with the ambition to grow a planning consultancy team in Cambridge, to work with the senior leadership team in Planning and Development to raise Planning Consultancy’s profile and reach new clients. You will have a proven track record of driving business development and leading teams to deliver major development projects. A little more about your role… Leading planning teams delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects. Leading bids for projects from new and existing clients. Representing WSP at business development events and raising the team profile. Providing leadership to more junior colleagues and creating an inclusive and supportive culture. Managing project delivery and budgetary control. What we will be looking for you to demonstrate… Degree level qualification in town planning (or equivalent). Member of (or eligible for) the RTPI. The ambition to grow and shape a planning consultancy team. Enthusiasm for business development and profile raising. A collaborative mindset to work with disciplines across WSP to deliver a one WSP approach to professional services. Strong organisational and communication skills.
