Electrical Engineer

to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in York. About the Role

Undertake minor electrical project works which may be requested. Be fully aware of the contract requirements for variable and managed works. Ensure all electrical testing and inspections are up to date and compliant. Assist other Sodexo departments when required. Follow Sodexo Health and safety instructions always. What We’re Looking For

BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Experience of Electrical maintenance/installations. Ability to use initiative and undertake core tasks independently. IT Literate. Technical expertise in specific area of work. Good communication skills, ability to present engineering issues to staff and customers. Time served electrical apprenticeship. IPAF (Powered access license). Good understanding of engineering principles. Portable Appliance Testing qualifications and experience. Desirable: City and Guilds 2391-10 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Systems. What We Offer
