Fire Alarm Service Engineer . The package offered to suitable candidates will reflect the level of experience and qualifications held. Responsibilities include: Undertaking planned maintenance and repairs of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and ancillary equipment. Participating in the on-call rota, currently one week in eight. Candidates should ideally have a proven track record and experience within the industry and be a competent engineer. However, full training can be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, practically minded, and has a can-do attitude, aiming for a first-time fix when presented with problems. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to: Organise workloads and plan their diary, including route planning to minimise travel time. Work effectively and efficiently. Exhibit excellent customer care skills. Candidates should ideally have FIA or BFC qualifications and a good understanding of the current British Standards, but full training can be provided if necessary. A clean driving licence is required (except minor speeding offences).
