Tendering Engineer

Tender Engineer Annual Salary: Up to 48,000 (dependent on skills and experience) Location: Middlesbrough Job Type: Full-time This role offers the opportunity to support the Tender Manager in organising and managing the tender process for large, multidisciplinary, and complex projects. Ideal for professionals with a background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, particularly within the offshore wind industry. Day-to-day of the role: Support the Tender Manager in organising and managing the tender process from invitation to submission. Handle both complex and less complex project-based and content-based tender processes. Compile and write tender documents. Manage the follow-up and hand-over of successful tenders. Evaluate tender processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Occasionally travel internationally to project locations and the Netherlands office. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. Extensive experience in a similar position, preferably in the offshore wind industry. Experience in hydraulic engineering and/or civil technical projects is advantageous. Strong knowledge of contracts and a good understanding of commerce. Customer-oriented with a representative attitude. Analytically strong, result-oriented, and collaboration-minded. Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to bring people together. Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs. Benefits: Flexible working hours.
