Essential: UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client Experienced in the analysis, design, and assessment of bridges and other types of highway structures Experience of working on a wide range of bridge types including masonry arches, prestressed and post tensioned concrete, and various types of steel bridges. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a good understanding of structural behaviour. Able to conduct structural analyses to assess the load-carrying capacity of bridges in accordance with DMRB standards. Able to use behavioural understanding and experience to understand why structures may be performing better than assessments suggest. Desirable: IEng or CEng A full UK driving licence Relevant design software/CAD/Civils 3D /where appropriate Experience of using LUSAS and ARCHIE-M You'll get this and so much more...
