THE OPPORTUNITY
We seek a mobile commercial gas engineer to cover the Salisbury, Taunton, Swindon, and Bournemouth, responsible for reactive and PPM maintenance to commercial premises and various contracts including Leisure, Public Houses, MOD, Retail, and Restaurants. Candidates should possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification and should hold ACS Commercial and Domestic qualifications and preferably Catering. You will be required to have comprehensive knowledge, both domestic and commercial, of most major manufacturers, i.e., Valliant Powermatic, Riello Broag, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, and Worcester. Good all-round knowledge of heating systems, fixed electrical systems & controls/BMS, plumbing skills, and good interpersonal & communication skills are essential. A flexible approach to work/clients' requirements and logical thinking in fault-finding situations are also required.
Annual salary up to £48,000 plus overtime & standby allowance, company vehicle, pension, tools, PPE, and mobile phone.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Technically qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, HNC, etc.)
Commercial & Domestic ACS
Computer literate
Good interpersonal and communication skills
