Days 06:00-14:00 & Afternoons 14:00-22:00 Location:
Stratford-upon-Avon, Long Marston My client is seeking a Fitter to assist with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant and machinery to best practice standards, ensuring equipment reliability is maximized and production is maintained at the highest possible level. Key Responsibilities:
Immediately respond to and assist in the correction of plant breakdowns Responsible for the repair of plant machinery and the maintenance of plant facilities, tooling, and equipment Identify and bring to the attention of Site Management opportunities for improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment Provide technical support to Supervisors in plant operation Assist in the operation of the site to ensure plant availability and production is maintained at the highest possible level Committed to achieving plant availability and production targets Comply with legislation and company standards Perform such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require Comply with all company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community Key Skills/Competencies:
Exceptional organisational skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable Integrity and confidentiality Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing production environment Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team and also on own initiative Logical approach to practical problem solving Basic welding/fabrication skills Qualifications:
