Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm Our Client: Our client is a highly accredited manufacturing company with a commitment to innovation, precision, and excellence. Role Summary: You will be required to lead our client's production operations based from their state-of-the-art facility in Ashford. You will be tasked with driving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Benefits: 22 days holiday + bank holidays (3 days must be kept aside for Christmas shutdown) Overtime paid at a premium rate Free parking on site Standard pension contributions Progression opportunities Key responsibilities within your new role would be to: Manage and motivate the Production Team. Ensure the smooth running of production. Adhere to GMP requirements. Ensure that all products are produced to specification and OTIF. Ensure that all staff comply with Health and Safety procedures. Develop the production team to optimise performance. Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed. Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging supplies. Track and report key performance metrics, analysing to identify trends and inform decision-making. Ensure full communication flows across the organisation. Organise the production team to ensure targets are achieved. Ensure GMP and Quality standards are understood and maintained. Work alongside the Technical team to be audit ready at all times. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure continuous improvement. Take ownership of operations and processes. Support the project team to develop site investment opportunities. Experience and skills required for this position: A background in food, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical industries. Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and GMP requirements. Understanding of relevant production processes and engineering principles. Previous management experience. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
