Our client is a major international refrigeration manufacturer. They are currently seeking a commercial or industrial refrigeration engineer to work on compressor packs in food production facilities in the North and West London areas. Location:
Applicants should live within a 20-mile radius of Wembley or Harrow. Required Experience: Service, maintenance, and repair of: Reciprocating compressors Screw compressors Centrifugal compressors Turbocor compressors Experience with various types of refrigerants including CO2. Ammonia experience would be a definite advantage, even though not all work would be ammonia-related. It is likely that the successful applicant will have: Completed a recognized apprenticeship in refrigeration. Qualifications to at least NVQ level in refrigeration. A recognized UK F Gas certificate. Additional Requirements: A full UK driving license is required. A company vehicle will be provided. Door-to-door travel will be paid. Work Schedule: Basic working week is 39 hours. Plenty of overtime is available. Basic salary will be according to experience. Applicants must have held a similar position for at least five years.
