30,000 - 36,000 per annum + Overtime Available + Company Health Care Plan + Referral Scheme Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join a skilled team in Scotland. This role involves installing electronic security systems to a high standard, as well as performing adds, moves, and changes to existing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in intruder alarms, access control, CCTV systems, and signalling devices like Emizon, Dual-Com, and Webway. Responsibilities

: Install electronic security systems to a high standard, including system upgrades and modifications. Apply strong technical knowledge of intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems. Work with customers to meet installation requirements and specifications. Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining key details and troubleshooting false alarms. Read and interpret building plans and CAD drawings. Complete all provided documentation, including site schematics/drawings, and return to the installation admin department. Communicate effectively between customers, internal management, install supervisory staff, and the installation admin department. Plan and manage work effectively, covering a defined geographical area. Travel and work away from home on occasion, including nights and weekends as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring toolbox talks are followed. Ensure compliance with the company health, safety, and welfare policy. Experience and Certifications Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electronic security industry with a strong working knowledge of all systems. Fully conversant with NSI standards. Expertise in both Network/IP-based and analogue CCTV systems. Knowledge of access control and intruder systems. Valid IPAF licence and ECS/CSCS card. Computer literate with strong communication and customer service skills. Clean, full UK driving licence. Checkable work history and suitable references. Ability to meet tight deadlines while working with other contractors on site. Knowledge and experience of fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional) (desirable). Experience with smoke systems installation and testing (desirable). Enterprise access control experience (desirable). Commissioning experience in both security and fire alarm systems (desirable).
