We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client, a global leader in providing state of the art satellite systems to a diverse range of industries. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers, driving the development of advanced satellite user terminals and radio systems. This role combines technical leadership, team management, and global collaboration to deliver high-quality hardware and software products for R&D and mass production. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards. Collaborate with leadership, project management, and consultants to align deliverables with organizational goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Technical Responsibilities

Define and manage the hardware/software development cycle in collaboration with the Project Manager. Tailor engineering processes, tools, and practices to meet project requirements. Allocate tasks, support execution, and review deliverables to maintain high standards. Contribute to system architecture, function allocation, and product specification. Leverage expertise to solve technical challenges and support research into new technologies and innovative solutions. Mentor less experienced engineers, fostering skill development and technical growth. Strong understanding of satellite communication terminals, radio systems, and related technologies. Working knowledge of RF systems, hardware and mechanical design, and software development. Experience & Qualifications Extensive experience in Systems, Hardware, or Electronics Engineering within a regulated environment, leading multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to manage hardware/software delivery processes and lifecycle development (e.g., DDQS or similar methodologies). Familiarity with project tracking tools like Jira or other agile management platforms. Desirable: Experience with Inmarsat and Iridium satellite terminals.
