Professional Relationships Director

with a strong medical background. This individual will play a critical role in building and nurturing relationships with key external stakeholders across neuroscience and oncology therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in identifying, engaging, and partnering with scientific leaders, academic institutions, healthcare professionals, and other key influencers across European geographies. This is a remote position and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in Europe. Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Identification and Engagement:

Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic researchers, healthcare professionals, and other key external stakeholders in neuroscience and oncology. Establish and maintain long-term scientific partnerships that align with the company’s objectives and support its strategic priorities.

Partnership Building:

Develop and manage collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, and professional societies to advance the company’s scientific and medical initiatives. Foster relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring the company's compliance and visibility within the European healthcare landscape.

Strategic Alignment:

Own the development and execution of strategy and engagement plan involving Professional Scientific Societies and external scientific partners across the portfolio. Work closely with internal cross-functional teams (medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial) to ensure external partnerships are aligned with overall company, EUR/INT strategy and goals. Provide insights from key external partners to guide clinical, medical, and commercial strategies in neuroscience and oncology.

Congress and Event Participation:

Represent the company at major scientific conferences and congresses to strengthen relationships and enhance visibility within the neuroscience and oncology communities. Support advisory boards, roundtables, and scientific exchange meetings with external stakeholders.

External Communication:

Serve as a company ambassador at external forums, communicating key scientific advancements and thought leadership in neuroscience and oncology.

Budget Management:

Responsible for planning, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.

Qualifications and Experience:

Medical degree (MD) or advanced scientific degree (PhD or PharmD) in a relevant field (preferably neuroscience and/or oncology). Substantial experience in stakeholder engagement and building scientific partnerships in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with a strong focus on neuroscience and oncology. Proven track record in establishing and maintaining relationships with KOLs, academic and professional institutions, and healthcare professionals across European countries. Experience working in a multi-national and cross-functional environment, preferably within Europe. In-depth knowledge of European healthcare systems and regulatory environments in neuroscience and oncology. Key Skills and Competencies:

Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and geographies. Languages:

Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus. Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel frequently across European geographies to meet with stakeholders and attend key events. Strong understanding of the medical affairs function and its role in supporting clinical development and commercialization strategies.
