Role & Responsibilities of the Territory Sales Manager: Actively seek out new sales lead opportunities and build a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation techniques. Utilise the provided cold data to follow up sales leads and develop them into potential customers. Maintain an understanding of products to educate customers on the advantages, ensuring they can make informed decisions. Understand the needs and challenges of prospective clients and present our supply/collection solutions as the best choice. Accountable for the timely and accurate completion of all requirements of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage all aspects of sales leads and customer interactions. Close sales deals and achieve or exceed sales targets. If a sale cannot be closed, gain customer agreement to be contacted in the future and pass the lead to the Telesales team for follow-up. Ensure full customer details are recorded to enable customers to be serviced properly and passed successfully to Customer Services after the first sale. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings. Provide customer/market feedback to the business to ensure our solutions remain competitive and aligned with customer needs. About You as the Territory Sales Manager: Full UK Drivers Licence and own car are essential for this role. Ability to work Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm (some flexibility may be possible). Field-based, face-to-face, business-to-business sales experience. Experience in the hospitality sector is a significant advantage. Confident and proven capability in working with IT systems, willing to document activity in systems. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools is an advantage. Effective interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Confident, self-motivated, results, and goal-driven. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively while still acting as an effective team member of the wider sales team.
