Mechanical Design Engineer - Northamptonshire - up to £50,000 + Benefits - Ref 1817 I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for an engineering organisation based in Northamptonshire. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits. The organisation supplies their products to clients across the UK within their specialist market and has been established for over 25 years. Due to growth within the business, they have the need to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a critical point between manufacturing and clients. This role will encompass amending existing products whilst also working on large bespoke projects. The typical value of a product can vary anywhere between £20,000 and £400,000. You will take a brief from a client, measure up onsite to create the full design on SolidWorks, and then work with the manufacturing team to create the product. This is the only Mechanical Design role within the company, so they are looking for someone who is happy to have autonomy, take ownership, and cooperate with the team and clients. Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer Experience with designing one of the following: Pipefitting, Hydraulics, or Pneumatics Proficiency in SolidWorks This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a very stable and personable company.
