The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, coupled with expertise in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications. As an Application Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our software products throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct regular security assessments and threat modeling on web and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues identified during assessments Implement and maintain security tools and processes to safeguard applications against cyber threats Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices Provide guidance and training to developers on secure coding practices and application security principles Participate in code reviews and architectural design discussions to ensure security is built into our applications from the ground up Respond to security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in application security, software development, or a related field Strong understanding of web application security principles, such as OWASP Top 10 Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, and manual code review Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams What We Offer:
