We are looking for an innovative and dynamic Digital Learning Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective digital learning content that transforms our organisation's learning and development landscape. Main duties of the job

This role involves designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective digital learning content that aligns with the organisation's learning and development goals. It necessitates a strong blend of both theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in instructional design, multimedia development, and digital learning environments. The Digital Learning Developer collaborates closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to create digital learning experiences, including interactive courses, videos, and assessments, tailored to the needs of employees and the organisational strategy. The post holder will also need to design, develop, and implement specialist digital media and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and XR solutions. This includes creating clinical and non-clinical training videos, animations, 3D models, and virtual reality (VR) experiences to support local, regional, and national initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuously improving the quality of the team's digital learning developments using learning theory, enhancing graphic design, and maximising educational impact. Knowledge, Training & Experience

Extensive experience in designing, developing, and creating high quality digital learning materials, including e-learning modules, animations, videos, and learning guides at a professional level. The ability to use an array of specialist authoring tools to develop new e-learning programmes (Articulate 360, Lectora). Experience of planning and developing e-learning solutions at pace and in response to specific brief. Extensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure as it relates to the support of e-learning delivery. Excellent knowledge of digital learning platforms, potentials, and possible organisational constraints. Experience of compiling information from several sources and providing analysis, summary, and options within detailed report information. Experience in developing digital learning materials for a clinical audience. Experience of directly managing designated staff. Ability and experience in filming and producing video. Knowledge and experience in administration and development of learning management systems (LMSs). NHS working experience and understanding of the purpose and functions of different NHS organisations. Qualifications

Excellent standard of education to degree level or relevant equivalent experience. Recognised training/teaching qualification or relevant equivalent experience. Skills & Abilities

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills - able to influence and network at all levels. Possess a curiosity and interest about new technologies and how they can impact upon e-learning. Proven ability to prioritise own workload, use initiative, and manage own time effectively and that of others. Ability to solve complex problems using innovative solutions where there may be conflicting views/perspectives. Understanding of developments in digital learning technology and standards and their application to development and delivery. Experience in creation of visual assets to specification using Adobe CC e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
