Skilled and experienced Senior Developer to lead efforts in ensuring seamless system interoperability between our products and services and those of healthcare providers. What about the role: Develop and implement solutions to ensure smooth interoperability leveraging standards-based technologies between our healthcare products and external systems, including government health systems, hospital information systems, laboratory information management systems, and more. Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and deliver robust integration solutions. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of APIs and middleware to facilitate secure and reliable data exchange across the health ecosystem. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data engineers, and system architects, to design scalable and efficient integration frameworks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange and system integration, ensuring seamless operation across connected systems. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to healthcare interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, and other relevant protocols. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies for system integration and interoperability projects. System Integration & Development: Design and develop secure, high-performance APIs and connectors for seamless data exchange between systems. Implement protocols and standards for interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, and others relevant to the healthcare sector. Collaboration & Technical Leadership: Engage with external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and build strong partnerships. Quality Assurance & Support: Conduct testing and quality assurance to validate the performance and reliability of integration solutions. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for integrated systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. What experience or qualifications do I need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on system integration and interoperability, preferably within the healthcare or finance industry. Proven experience in developing APIs, microservices, and middleware solutions. Experience with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. An understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is desired.
