Role Responsibilities:
Lead firewall network security initiatives, ensuring robust defense mechanisms against cyber threats.
Implement and optimize firewall configurations, adhering to NISC policies and federal regulations.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce network security protocols and measures.
Participate in a 35-hour work week with flexibility based on workload, focusing on enhancing network security posture.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years in network security, specializing in firewall management and configurations
Experience with NISC policies, NIST, HIPAA, and federal agency compliance
Proficiency in Cisco Switching Backbone, IDS/IPS, and cybersecurity protocols
Nice-to-have: Pen Testing experience with configuration changes based on findings
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary: $90,000 to $100,000 annually
