SENIOR DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIST

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and launch new products (including duplications) for specified customers to achieve sales growth.
Link design activity to business strategy by delivering innovative products within the constraints of the brief.
Use sound commercial and technical awareness of our ingredients, processes and customer requirements to deliver ‘right first time’.
Provide technical support to operations/logistics/purchasing for cost release, quality maintenance and improvement programs.
Interact with customers to support relationship building and customer intimacy strategy.
Interact with suppliers and the general marketplace to ensure up to date ingredients and technologies are employed in new developments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Food technology/Food Science Degree
On-bench development experience in salad dressings, condiments and sauces relevant to our portfolio (or in a similar food environment)
RSQ experience
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to manage competing priorities
