Job Summary:

An excellent opportunity for Service Engineers from high value capital equipment backgrounds to join a market leader in sophisticated semiconductor process equipment, offering first-class product training and opportunities for career development.

The Company:

My client is a global leader in innovative and complex semiconductor process equipment, with cutting-edge patented technology in metrology-based industrial microscopy.

The Role:

The prime function is to provide technical support to customers, managing the technical relationship and providing remote and on-site support to resolve technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and support of products at customer sites globally.

Provide remote and on-site support, including fault finding, repair, and installation of product upgrades.

Manage the product acceptance process from installation through to customer sign-off.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.

Train, mentor, and coach distributor service teams.

Monitor the performance and uptime of all company products.

Write and maintain technical documents to improve fault-finding and installation.

Work with Engineering and Production to improve product reliability and serviceability.

Travel to customer sites across Europe, USA, and Asia, with travel reaching up to 50%.

Your Background:

To succeed, you must demonstrate:

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Support Engineer.

Qualification in an engineering or science subject.

Good electronics, mechatronics, and IT systems knowledge.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Capability to learn quickly and understand complex technical topics.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
