£550 per day - Umbrella only (Inside IR35) Description: As a well-rounded Java developer, we expect adaptability and general skills in problem solving, business analysis, quality assurance, application design, and architecture to complement your Java development specialism. In an Agile environment, communication is key. Therefore, we expect professionalism, good communication skills, and approachable team members. What to expect: As an EIS Developer, your primary focus will be to deliver change while working as part of a multi-disciplined team. You will be involved in all stages of software delivery, including design, development, configuring, deploying, and monitoring using industry-standard tooling, to truly work in a DevOps capacity. The work will be on both Microservices and WebLogic applications. While working in a collaborative environment, you will meet a variety of different people who, like you, have a wealth of knowledge and experience. As part of one or more communities, you will have the opportunity to influence how we grow as a delivery centre and how we do things by sharing ideas and collaborating with others to improve processes. Essential requirements include: Java (min Java 8) WebLogic Maven Message queuing (e.g., Rabbit) Microservice architecture Docker image creation Kubernetes Desirable Skills: Apache Camel (not essential but desirable) Testing knowledge (BDD desirable) DevOps (not essential but desirable) CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI desirable)
