Key Responsibilities:
Installation of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., BS 5839-1). Conducting site surveys to determine installation requirements. Running cables, installing devices, and commissioning fire alarm systems. Working collaboratively with clients and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installations. Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed at all times. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in installing fire alarm systems. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS 7671). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driving license. Desirable Skills:
Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, or equivalent). Experience with additional safety systems (e.g., emergency lighting, smoke vent systems). Understanding of IT and networking for modern fire alarm systems. What We Offer:
