We are looking for a

Technical Support Scientist

(m/f/d) with a background in

Flow Cytometry/ImmunoAssays

to join either our Darmstadt, Glasgow or Madrid Technical support team.

You will provide advice and help to Thermo Fisher Scientific customers in the EMEA territory, and internal support to sales colleagues and other teams across the Thermo Fisher Scientific organization.

We are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience of

Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Luminex

techniques and excellent customer support skills, as this role will specialize in supporting customers remotely with our products (lab consumables and instruments) related to these techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a MSc, Ph.D. or equivalent research experience. You must be

fluent in French

(minimum C1 level)

and English . You must have a proven track record to learn large amounts of new and complex technical information and also have excellent communication skills.

Given the customer-facing nature of this position, previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential. We encourage friendly individuals with people-oriented skills. Customer satisfaction is a must.

Essential Functions:

Provides technical support for Thermo Fisher Scientific products and services by answering customer technical inquiries in English and French. Inquiries are received via email, telephone or chat.
