Come and join our expanding team of Learning Mentors We are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor to increase the support that we provide for our children and our parents. Are you kind, caring, compassionate, and energetic? Are you a creative thinker? Come and join the team at Holy Trinity and St John's CEP School, Margate. We are looking for a Learning Mentor to join our mentor team, supporting children across the school with their SEMH needs. We are expanding our mentor team to also provide direct support to our parents. This will be working alongside our Family Support Team to deliver workshops to parents and their children. Our successful candidate will be caring and empathetic, but also firm and fair, with clear expectations. You will be passionate and want to make a difference in our children’s lives. The Learning Mentor will work with children across the school, providing: Check-ins with identified pupils and those that need it at that time Support for some of our children with their levels of engagement to improve their learning Mentoring Lunch time provision Working with the class staff and inclusion team to support our children in their learning A point of contact for identified families Delivering (as part of a team) workshops to parents and their children Are you: Able to work using your own initiative? Able to work as part of a team? Flexible and caring? A good communicator? Able to support class and individual needs?
